"“Larry & His Flask are like no band I’ve ever seen (which seems to be the general consensus). As soon as Jamin says “Hello everybody we’re Larry & His Flask!” and the first song begins people are glued to the stage. Everyone is watching with smiles and wide eyes. People are looking at their friends shaking their heads with looks on their faces that say: “What the hell is this?!“ When all 6 members are on stage they are truly a sight to behold. They play their instruments fast and they play them good. It’s difficult to describe the kind of music they play; they don’t fit into any of the genres found in your neighborhood music shop. Their music sounds like rowdy bluegrass/folk with heavy punk rock roots and a splash of gypsy soul.”
With that being said, lets start on their discography shall we?!?!

ReplyDeleteTHANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!One of THE BEST BANDS ever!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHuge thanks man!
ReplyDeleteWhere's that quote from? That really says it all...
ReplyDeleteYou, sir, are fantastic. Thank you for this glorious gift of amazing music
ReplyDeleteThis may be the stupidest thing I have ever read on the internet, and that's saying something:
ReplyDelete"Hell, I don't even want you to go and buy any merchandise from these bands. You have every right to pirate them so more power to you. I'm a strong supporter in DIY ethics because who's going to do the dishes when the revolution begins?"
You're a supporter of DIY ethics - like those that Larry and His Flask has embodied every time they jumped in a van, toured all over, busked on street corners, paid out of their pocket to produce CDs, etc., etc. - but you're apparently not a supporter of DIY bands. Instead, you're more than happy to post their music on the internet and encourage people to steal it, effectively taking away one of their few revenue streams that allow them to continue making music.
Most blogs that post illegal links to music at least encourage folks to go to shows and buy CDs/vinyl/shirts if they hear something they like. But not you! In fact, you say to do just the opposite.
Congratulations on completely screwing up what punk rock is all about, 20-year-old. Joe Strummer would be proud.
thank you sooooooooo much! this band is amazing! i had never heard of them until they opened for Trampled By Turtles about a year ago. they blew me away! by the time TBT played i was exhausted and bored. we just recently saw them again and they're still putting out incredible amounts of energy.
