Black Haven are back with a new album entitled Harmbringer. For those of you who don't know, Black Haven are a dominant and rather popular straight edge hardcore band in the h8000 scene. I have to admit, I think I liked The Cleansing EP a lot better. A lot of it has to do with the vocals. For some reason Harmbringer just doesn't seem to be all that aggressive compared to the EP. That still doesn't mean it isn't a great release though! It's very uh.... melodic would you say? The vocals tend to go from shouting to almost sung which is pretty sick and gives you that old school hardcore punk feel to it. There aren't many that hardcore bands that do it right coming from Belgium but Black Haven never cease to fail me so do yourself a favor and add this album to your collection!
