So I have some wonderful news...

This is taken from this here:

Quit what you don't love. We are free!

January 18, 2011

About a year ago I went to rehab because I could not stop using heroin. Today I have been sober for a little over a year. I have started repairing some of the damage that I did to others. I have started making peace with myself. I have never been happier before in my life. I still love punk rock and anarchy, but I am not consumed by anger and depression.
I live in Tucson, AZ now. I am starting a new band, again. It might be called the Reckless Madness Orchestra, or it might not. Whatever it ends up being called, we are recording a CD of all new songs with lots of instruments on it. We will play some shows in Tucson very soon. We will play at Plan-It-X Fest 2011 this June. Seeking recovery has meant establishing a more stable lifestyle than I am used to. I started going to college and I really like it. I will not be going on any big tours any time soon.
One of my friends and I are starting a new collective label/distro project. When we put something out we will post the news.
I don't drink or use drugs because I can't do so without ruining my life. I have no opinion on other people's drinking or using, but I would appreciate it if you did not encourage me to drink or use with you.
When I left there were lots of people who had ordered things that did not recieve them. There are also many people that I have been dishonest, incosiderate, or selfish to over the years. If you are one of the above people, please get in touch and I will do my best to set it right.
You can e-mail me at recklessmadness@hotmail.com. From now till utopia,

With that being said, everyone be sure to write a letter to him! He's had a tough year in there and I'm glad to here he's giving up the drugs and alcohol because this will truly be his ultimate test whether or not he will keep up with it. I believe in Pat and I wish the best of luck for him and I'm looking forward to his new distro along with his new band. My hat is off to you, Pat, you're a great guy and I hope you get somewhere in this shitty place we call Earth. To celebrate this all, I will be dumping everyone of Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains, Wingnut Dishwasher's Union, and the rest of Michael Jordan Touchdown Pass's albums.

  1. I've been a long time fan ever since I couldn't sleep all those nights and would drive around till 4am when I had swim practice in a half hour. You helped me get through depression of the winter, and try harder with other people. I hope this is really a change for your life and things get better for you, man. I'm happy to see you are setting things straight.

  2. I'm not Pat The Bunny. Sorry! But I feel you, I really do. He's inspired us all and I'm glad to see that he's taking some consideration and bettering himself.
