Derrota - Asko Infinito (2008)

From last.fm:

"D-Beat Crust Band From Valencia, Spain."

I'm not sure if it was planned or what, but Derrota is probably one of the most d-beatish bands I've listened to within the neocrust scene. They really bring out the old school Discharge-sounding riffs and dominant drumline. I almost want to call it "crust n' roll" but there is an underlining melodic tone to it that stops me from calling it that. On their split with Leadershit they even covered We Are 138 by The Misfits. You can instantly tell who the majors influences were on Derrota when you first listen to them. If you're looking for some unusual and a bit more punk rock sounding but still has a melodic crust sound it, than Derrota is your safest bet.
