Fall of Efrafa - Inle (2009)

From last.fm:

"Fall of Efrafa were a concept band formed in Brighton, United Kingdom in 2005, starting life as a cello driven hardcore band, yet after various line up changes, focused on creating their own sound, mixing elements of post rock, post metal and ambient folk black metal- taking influence from bands such as Neurosis, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Agalloch and Buried Inside. They described their music as heavy atmospheric post-hardcore."

Fall of Efrafa are one of those one-of-a-kind bands that you won't find anywhere because they incorporate so many different elements into their music. There is a lot of raw emotion and very long, drawn-out instrumentals with growled lyrics with a great sludge side to it which make up the band's sound. As much as the band hates being labeled as crust they DO have a lot neocrust elements involved. I also strongly advise anyone to check out the rest of their albums seeing as how they play off each other.
