Celeste - Morte(s) Nee(s) (2010)

From last.fm:

"Celeste is a French band with ex-Mixhai Edrisch members. They released their first EP, “Pessimiste(s)”, at the end of November 2006, an album in 2007 entitled “Nihiliste(s)” ,their second full-length, “Misanthrope(s)” was out in in February 2009 and their latest release ‘’Morte(s) Nee(s)’’ in early 2010."

Celeste has always been known to hammer out some very definitive and brain-rattling music but their latest release, Morte(s) Nee(s), tops the cake of anything previously put out. This french band also takes a lot of notice towards the black metal scene with very darkened riffs and almost screaming/shrieking vocals. The music itself is almost atmospheric but really draws you in with the vocals at the same time. I would easily put this album in my category of top 20 albums of 2010. If you're a fan of artists like Envy, Time to Burn, and Year of No Light, than these guys shall suit your needs.
