A//Political - Planting The Seeds Of Revolution (1997)

From last.fm:

"A//Political was an anarcho-punk band from Baltimore. Their style is similar to that of peace punk bands from the early 1980s. The band was the musical arm of the Crasshole Collective which spearheaded the Anarcho-Punk Federation (A.P.F.).The band, along with the Crasshole Collective, produced several communiques explaining their ideas about a variety of topics often directly related to the themes of their lyrics. The band has also produced several other writings on anarchism and their political beliefs. The band dissolved in 2000. An official retrospective 2008 discography of all 7”s and EPs, and demo tracks was released in 2010."

WHAT'S THE POINT
NOTHING HERE BUT HATE

For the anarchist as fuck material they put out, A//Political definitely needs some recognition in the punk scene. The kind of music they put out falls in between Antischism and Crass. It has that crusty vibe but still promotes peace and anarchy and what not. Signed to Crasshole Records, A//Political makes a great addition to this collective. What catches my eye about this band the most is the spoken word at the end of the tracks. It has a very angry feel to it and you can tell that the bands main focus was the songwriting. Definitely a pick up for a fan looking for American anarcho-punk but still has that early 80s UK vibe to it.
